Meet Becky and the rest of the Beanstalk Arts team of storytellers, musicians and teachers! 

Martha McBean

Martha is a musician and practitioner specialising in Early Years and Primary education. She made her home in south east London whilst studying Music at Goldsmiths University and later studied for a PGCE at the Institute of Education. Since then Martha has been a teacher in Lewisham and now coordinates and teaches Music from singing assemblies to ukulele groups, as well as class teaching part of the time. Martha’s instruments are Cello, Guitar, Ukulele and voice - having sung her way through her music degree. She is so interested in music and child development that she is looking forward to furthering her studies with a Masters at the Royal College of Music this September.

Holly Dabbs

Holly Dabbs is a very familiar face and great friend of Beanstalk Arts as she's often be found joining us to hang out with Boris and regale us with her energetic, fun filled stories! Holly is a trained EY educator, founder and leader at Foxglove Forest School, and also regularly leads projects and tells stories for organisations including the Horniman Museum, Royal Parks, National Army Museum and for the BBC.

Samantha Sutherland

Samantha trained as an actor-musician at Rose Bruford college which means she loves to blend music and stories! She works as an actress, has puppeteered on lovely shows such as We’re Going on a Bear Hunt and The Singing Mermaid and holds early years music sessions at the Royal Albert Hall. She tutors piano and provides musically themed parties for children. www.mamfysmusictime.co.uk

Amie Taylor

Amie is a Theatre-maker and storyteller with 14 years experience of working with children and young people. In the past 5 years she has started making puppets and shadow puppets and has made 3 storytelling shows for 3-7 year olds. She plays the ukulele and loves writing comedy songs.
